SCREENING APPLICANTS

Resumes must be screened against the position description so that assessments can be made of the suitability of candidates for the specific role, to ensure that the right set of candidates are gotten. Applicants who are assessed as suitable will then be invited to undergo the recruitment process.

APTITUDE TEST

Candidates coming in as entry level will be mandated to undergo the Bank’s aptitude test or specialized roles. If found suitable and shortlisted, the candidate will be invited to complete an assessment which may consist of G-MAT/ Current Affairs. These assessments are designed to help ClearPay MFB determine if the candidate meets the minimum skill and competency requirements needed to succeed in the Bank.

PRE-INTERVIEW

Candidates who are successful at the aptitude stage or candidates that have pass through the screening stage and are shortlisted would then have a phone call interview to confirm availability. Candidates who are qualified would then be invited to a panel interview which will be largely competency-based.

INTERVIEW

Conducting Interviews for all roles will take place at three levels.

  1. Level One: at this stage, the Interview will be with the hiring manager, Human resources Manager, and other senior managers who understand the role being hired for, and to access candidates against the competencies and skills outlined in the job description.
  2. Level Two: Candidates who are successful at the first level would then be invited to meet the Heads of Business Units and Group Head, Corporate Services, and any member of the management team. In addition to more competency questions, candidates are expected to demonstrate industry knowledge and passion required to work in the ClearPay MFB.
  3. Level Three: This stage is conducted with the Managing director to ensure that the candidate fits into the Bank’s expectation of a ClearPay MFB

 

OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT

Candidates who are successful at the Final stage of the Interview will be sent to a designated medical test provider, if certified fit. The Human Resources Department will prepare a written letter of offer for the candidate and send to the candidate via e-mail.

Upon resumption, the candidate will provide evidence of relevant qualifications/credentials which will be verified by the Human Resources Department before being redeployed to his/her department.
